Responsibilities
Assisting with the processing of accounting transactions.
Assist and support the accounts team as necessary.
General ad-hoc duties
Reporting & Supervisory responsibilities
To a Senior Accountant
No Staff responsibilities initially - may supervise
bookkeepers in the future
Specific Tasks involved in the role
Assisting in the preparation of Management and year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies.
Client liaison.
Professional Skills Required
Graduate or educated to A-level standard.
Previous experience would be an advantage.
IT Literate.
Personal Qualities Required
Interested in a career in Accountancy, together with the participation in relevant training.
Numerate with good problem solving skills
Confidence when dealing with clients, genuinely care about giving them a good service.
Good communication skills.
Personable, enthusiastic and flexible.
Good organisational ability.
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.

Comprehensive training will be provided on the various
software packages used in the office
Study support for accounting qualifications such as AAT and ACCA will be provided.
