We have developed a niche in certain areas. Partly this is a result of our base in the Cambridge economy and partly as a result of the benefits offered by our software.

University academics who offer consultancy services were amongst the first people to contact us to seek our advice. They have simple accounting needs but looked for good tax planning because they could be high earners. From this we have expanded to deal with a range of service businesses from management consultants, barristers, MPs to Vets and doctors.

The early adopters of our online software are those who have felt comfortable with the internet and now telecommuters and overseas companies with a UK subsidiary are using the software to allow access to accounting information from around the world. These people don't just want accountancy software they need a firm able to provide tax advice and sometimes a local presence in the UK with a registered office address and post forwarding.

Our tax consultancy team has done a lot of work with individuals moving into or out of the UK and with companies involved in more than one tax jurisdiction. Our team outside the UK can provide a management service for companies which trade internationally.
